How do your fees work?
Using our Super Inspection and Tailored Maintenance Plan is a flat fee that typically costs about twice what a standard home inspection would in your area. Beyond that, HomeRunner can do a lot for you - or a little. Fees are tied to the workload: more complicated or frequent tasks, or tasks that require more personalized attention, can add to the cost. The cost of our support service - helping protect you from physical or financial surprises - is typically less than 10% of your monthly PITI payment.
Why can't I just do this myself?
For much of what we do, you probably can - if you have time and energy for it. HomeRunner helps homeowners who are too busy, aren't up for the physical workload, are a bit overwhelmed by the list of homeowner responsibilities, or are simply unfamiliar with what's needed. We also provide special services to help with home improvements or where a homeowner has compliance requirements. We also bring benchmarks of what utility costs not only in your area but for homes like yours nationwide.
Where do you serve?
We're still in our planning stages and deciding where to launch first. Please contact us to be notified when we're coming to your area.
What if I'm not satisfied?
We require a three month commitment at first - there's a lot of work for us getting set up with your home - but if you're unsatisfied at any point after that, you can cancel at any time.
Do you work on condos? What about co-ops?
Yes! And we recognize that there are specific ownership responsibilities for these types of homes, too. We're especially expert on things like limited equity cooperatives as well - if that's your situation, contact us about our Assisted Ownership capabilities.
